About Trevor Santor

Born in Phoenix, Arizona - Trevor Santor grew up with a baseball glove in his hand. From playing on TV at 9 years old winning championships with his brother, to having a batting cage in his backyard. It's safe to say that Trevor fell in love with the game of baseball at a young age, and all that came with chasing - THE DREAM.

Trevor's dad (Larry) built a batting cage in their backyard, and gave Trevor all the tools and resources he needed to chase his dream of playing Major League Baseball one day. This helped Trevor immensely, especially after his parents went through a gut-wrenching divorce when he was 12.

I was raised in the cage!

At this time, Trevor also suffered from a torn rotator cuff from overuse playing year-round baseball as a middle infielder and pitcher. He was out of commission for 9 months after surgery. Both his family and the game he loved were ripped away from him before entering his teenage years.

But Trevor's dad would continue to inspire him to chase his dreams. He would even get to bring Trevor inside the dugout of Hall of Fame Major League Baseball Players like Bob Feller, Rollin Fingers, Jim "Mudcat" Grant, Brooks Robinson, and more! He was even MORE inspired to chase his dreams!

High School

In high school, Trevor performed very well athletically and was awarded Defensive Player of the Year his freshman year, Rookie of the Year his Sophomore year, Offensive Player of the Year his Junior year, and Team Captain his Senior Year.

Trevor also excelled academically in High School (3.7 GPA), and was awarded multiple academic scholarships to attend various colleges and universities.

Larry, worked extremely hard to get his son's through college by helping them stay goal-oriented and on top of their grades. Larry also helped them by applying for scholarships to help pay for their tuition as a single parent.

College

Trevor played NCAA baseball at Grand Canyon University from 2009-2012. He was awarded PacWest Player of The Week his freshmen year.

After a back injury his sophomore year (slipped disc), and a coaching staff change his junior year, Trevor transferred out of GCU after batting .362 in his 141 at-bats with 17 stolen bases.

Trevor then transferred to play baseball and finish his degree at Arizona Christian University from 2012-2014 where he earned his Bachelor's Degree in Business. Trevor earned Comeback Athlete of the Year in 2013,

after a severe baseball accident took him out of the game of baseball for 3 months. Trevor ran full speed into a brick wall, with no pads, to make a catch at the wall (WARNING: Hospital Photos).

Trevor had to battle many adversities in life from multiple injuries, heartbreaks, betrayals, and self-inflicted setbacks, as well.

A lesson that has supported Trevor throughout his years has been his ability to use the pain and struggle all as fuel to get to the next stage in baseball, his career, and his life.

After battling back from injury, Trevor went on to have a successful campaign in 2013 hitting .298 with 4 home runs. He was also awarded Business Student of the Year.
